Art Competition Winner

We have some good news at Hazel Cottage School.

Lilah, Year 1, took 2nd place in the Independent Schools Association North Art competition yesterday in the 2-dimensional EYFS category. Lilah received a certificate and was up against tough competition from pupils from Independent Schools across the North region. Hazel Cottage was the only special school to enter the competition, and Lilah was up against pupils from mainstream independent settings. Lilah had created a beautiful abstract painting with different colours and textures during Hazel Cottage Neurodiversity celebrations. Lilah is a pre-formal pathway pupil and narrowly missed out on making the national final. We are very proud!
